With Sonoma County’s rich agricultural roots, there are probably a dozen or more pumpkin patches throughout the county. Here are a few of my family’s favorites!
Punky’s Pumpkins
Punky’s is our beloved “neighborhood” pumpkin patch here in Larkfield, located right next to the Luther Burbank Center. I like to go in the evening when the string lights are aglow. I recommend grabbing dinner and a margarita from Mi Ranchito next door and making a family date of it. Attractions include a good variety of jumpy houses, corn pit, train ride, and jumbo slide.

The Santa Rosa Pumpkin Patch
Us actually lost in the corn maze.
The Santa Rosa Pumpkin Patch has it all, and then some! It’s home to Sonoma County’s largest corn maze (8 acres) and dozens of attractions including the hay bale pyramid, pumpkin blasters, pony rides, and a petting zoo. It’s definitely a popular one and gets super busy on the weekends, so I recommend going during the week if you can.

Forni Farm
If you are looking for a simpler pumpkin patch experience, Forni Farm is the perfect choice. It is a small, family run farm that carving, decorative, and culinary pumpkins all grown right there on their farm. While you’re there, you can also pick up some delicious beautiful Winter squash, including Delicata, Carnival (hybrid of Delicata and Acorn), North Georgia Candy Roaster, and their favorite pie pumpkin – Winter Luxury Pie. They also have beautiful heirloom tomatoes by the pound! Their organically grown veggies and veggie starts are bar none.
